A man who strapped 94 iPhones to his entire Man Arrested With body with plastic bags and masking tapes in a bid to smuggle them to China’s mainland was on Sunday, January 11, 2015 intercepted by Customs officials following his abnormal walking steps.
The unidentified man who hails from Hong Kong was arrested and detained for further interrogation about the phones.
According to reports, it was learnt that both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S models were seized from the man which the total cost was valued at over $49,000.
Although against the law in China’s mainland, smuggling of foreign electronics products is a common place among the residents in a bid to escape the heavy taxes paid for importation.
