These shocking new pictures reveal the bloodied scene which greeted police as they arrived to find Oscar Pistorius had shot his girlfriend.

The runner denies murdering Reeva Steenkamp when he shot her through the bathroom door of his luxury Pretoria home on Valentine’s Day last year.

He says it was a tragic accident when he mistook her for an intruder.

Prosecutors argue the double amputee Olympian – known as the Blade Runner – is lying and he killed Reeva intentionally following a blazing argument.
